About Us

Founded in 2009 as a private initiative by Mitkumar Vyas, Dwija Gallery was established with a vision to preserve, promote, and celebrate India’s rich historical, cultural, and artistic heritage. In 2017, the gallery was formally inaugurated by Vijay Rupani Chief Minster of Gujarat & Vajubhai Wada Governor of Karnatak, becoming one of Gujarat’s first dedicated galleries focusing on numismatics, philately, manuscripts, fine art, and rare antiques under one roof.

Over the years, Dwija Gallery has participated in numerous national and international trade fairs, exhibitions, and cultural events, building a strong reputation amongst collectors, historians, researchers, institutions, and art enthusiasts.

The gallery proudly houses an extraordinary and diverse collection, including:

  • More than 6 million postal stamps from across the world
  • Ancient to modern coin collections spanning various civilizations and eras
  • Currency notes from over 300 countries
  • Thousands of autographs of renowned national and international personalities, including celebrities, politicians, artists, and sports personalities
  • Rare manuscripts, historical documents, artworks, and collectible antiques

Dwija Gallery is also actively engaged in acquiring and preserving historically important letters and documents associated with great Indian leaders and nation-builders such as Mahatma Gandhi, Subhas Chandra Bose, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and many other prominent figures who shaped modern India.

With a deep passion for heritage preservation and collecting, Dwija Gallery continues to serve as a platform for history, art, culture, and legacy — connecting the past with future generations.
